Loft insulation is one of the cheapest and cost effective ways of maintaining heat in your property. It has been estimated that around 25% of heating energy can be lost through the roof without effective insulation and having the current recommended levels of 270mm could save you 20% on your heating bills as well as reducing your carbon footprint. We can carry out anything from simply topping up your insulation, to having it all replaced. This should be laid with 100mm bottom layer placed between the joist and the top layer of 170mm layer adjacent to the bottom.
